JERRY BROWN'S BUDGET, AL GORE'S MELTING ICE AND YASIEL PUIG'S DRIVING ON FLUSH 'EM FRIDAY THE 1 10 14 EDITION

Welcome to Flush 'em Friday! Time to flush that which just needs to go.

Jerry Brown and his proposed spend more before taxing the living crap out of a once great state.
Jerry Krause...well, just for being Jerry Krause.
Ben without Jerry's...tasteless...
Gerrymandering...it's just unfair and my vote always gets counted with a bunch of morons.
Anyone who doesn't like the logo, Jerry West, that's just wrong.

Al Gore for predicting that the polar ice caps would melt by 2014. It was nice of Al to fly around in his private jet (not carbon footprint there) spouting nonsense as if it were fact and presenting himself as someone who actually gives a lick.

Yasiel Puig's driving. Rent a track, leave your mom in pits, and drive like the wind.

The Laker's injuries...I think I just got carpal syndrome tunnel just writing about them...

If you can think of any other Jerry's or Al's please leave them in the comment section.

Good day.

John McCain, John Boehner, Jerry Brown and the minimum wage on Flush 'em Friday the 9 27 13 Edition

Happy Flush 'em Friday! Time for some well deserving entities, real or imagined, to be unceremoniously given a down the drain exit. This week's nominees are...

  • John McCain - for making a stupid comment about the Dodgers jumping in the pool to celebrate after all but about 100 fans left the building. Also for NOT fighting with Ted Cruz to stop Obamacare.
  • John Boehner - grow some hair on that sorry excuse for a chest! Be a leader, take a stand against something!  Your party, the people who voted you in, not the knuckleheads who voted in Obama, don't want Obamacare.
  • People who think raising the minimum wage will actually help minimum wage earners. Yes, it will help them pay more for that Big Mac which will go up in price to cover the cost of rising labor!
  • Jerry "moonbeam" Brown - for raising the minimum wage and the cost of eating out, and lowering the standard of living for all.
Who do you think should be flushed first?

Happy flushing!

Loose Cannon Fire the 1 26 13 Edition

The following is simply loose cannon fire I shot at various newspapers. Enjoy! And feel free to add some of your own in the comment section.

  • This is just classic Jerry Brown bla bla bla. Cut funds for the uninsured while expected more uninsured. Take money from local school districts to redistribute to the more needy and English learner (districts?) while giving local school districts more control of what ever is left. More "funding" for green energy. That is the biggest sham. What green energy? My green in someone else's pocket to secure their vote. Thanks moonbeam. I give it an over under of 6 to 9 months before he is asking for voter approved taxes of those nasty businesses who are moving to state that realizes taxing business reduces capital to hire employees/taxpayers.
  • The dumbest thing about the platinum coin is the problem with all ideas that have to do with money coming from Democrats. No one asks, "How are you going to pay for it?" I know J Foxx thinks Obama is god but, many must think he can create platinum by fiat. I know, they would just ask the rich to, fairly, pay a little more. Which like we saw in the fiscal cliff solution means the working class will pay again.
  • I wish that common sense had anything to do with how the liberal mind works, but it does not. The ability to be confronted with a question, ignore it, and ask another question, thus avoiding any real issue, is a core skill for all liberals. Using common sense to find a reasonable answer is out of the question.
  • As usual E.J. has said a whole lot about nothing. Democrats push for more government and never pay for it. No, Clinton did not , he borrowed from Social Security and did not pay it back. Republicans like Reagan used to push for smaller government and payed the bills and built prosperity. Bush, acting like a Democrat created more government thus pissing off true conservatives who revolted with the Tea Party.
    • The question E.J. and all liberals will avoid (usually with a question about "social justice") is whether the country is better off than it was when CastrObama began as el Presidente
  • I never cease to be amazed by some who believe that progressive policies can actually lead to continued prosperity. Reality is not significant. The truth is spin and citizens are stupid sheep.
  • O Eugene, you are what you are; a leftist propagandist. The issue is that for whatever reason the Benghazi situation was mishandled and American lives were lost, it will happen again if the same people are not held accountable. You, Eugene refuse to hold the President responsible for his administration.
    • You are right to be concerned about future threats, but, failing to call Hillary to account, which at some point to the man in charge, and childishly accuse the GOP of irrationality, will only assure that in the future other American lives will be risked needlessly.
    • If you are more than a puppet, Eugene, honestly question your leadership.
  • As usual, the green job myth is always in the future. Jerry's big idea is, "he wants to refine California’s environmental protection laws so they don’t unnecessarily hold up development projects that create jobs." PROJECTS THAT CREATE JOBS! Where are the NOW jobs? They are as far as they can get from your regulations! YOU CAN NOT TAX BUSINESS INTO CREATING NEW JOBS. Jerry B and the California Dems are proving that their policies KILL jobs. Again.

Brown's Approval Soars!!?

The Daily Breeze announced that Governor Jerry Brown's  approval rating has soared to 48%! Well, doesn't that mean 52% don't approve? 52% think he sucks. 52% realize Governor "Moonbeam" isn't orbiting the same planet that his state exsists on.

Jerry's BEST idea and only idea is to tax "the rich". Meanwhile, back on the farm, companys and jobs are leaving CA like rats from a sinking ship.

What does higher taxes mean? A lower standard of living. But, don't get me wrong, tax the rich. I especially like the idea of a 50% tax on movie stars, movie makers, mogals and professional athletes.
I DARE YOU.

52% don't approve.

Taking Harman's Place with Green Jobs

A light bulbImage via Wikipedia
Jane Harman is out. It is about time! Now, who will take her place as Representative for the 36th Congressional District? Unfortunately, the vast majority of my neighbors are Democrats. The same group that voted Jerry Brown back into office, who's big plan is to ask the California voters to vote to tax themselves more. Am I the only one who thinks that is as stupid as it sounds?

Reading the leading candidates ideas from the Democratic side is not very hopeful. Again, a lot of talk about green jobs. Green jobs? What makes a job green? Is green really better? Let me just take my light bulb for instance. If a green light bulb is better why does it cost more and last like 1/4 as long? The redistribution of wealth. My green into someone else's pocket! I would think to the voters of any part of the United States let alone California jobs, any jobs, would be the focal point of the debate. Green!? I don't care if they're purple with yellow stripes, the 36th Congressional District, like any other, needs jobs, no matter the color!

I even read of one candidate described as a "cerebral technocrat" who is worried about energy effecting climate change and the snow pack! Are you kidding me!!! Really? I can hear it now, "I'm pleased to announce that we will be shutting down the manufacturing plant because we believe it to create warmth which leads to the melting of the snow-pack." "Sorry about the loss of jobs, but we will be manipulating tax revenue to create green jobs. When? Soon."

Wake up California! Companies and jobs left Harman's district and she was clueless about it! Why vote in another clueless green jobless libnut?

Loose Cannon Fire 1 15 11 Edition

Billy the Kid (1860 – 1881).Image via Wikipedia
Just a few shots for fun...

At face value it looks like a good start for Governor Brown.
While campaigning for Governor Brown repeatedly stated that California needed to live within its means.
What are California's means?
Let's see if Gov. Brown will honestly start from the reality of California's means (income), not budget wish list.
Let's see how the Democrat led legislature leads. Will it be responsible to right the ship or will they seek first entitlements to get reelected?

Since J Brown is not a capitalist he isn't worried about the effects of his methodology of budget balancing on businesses and individual jobs. If his cuts and shifts do not open up jobs now more businesses and more jobs will leave California. Maybe Jerry's idea is; if businesses leave there will be less mouths to feed?

What frightens me is the number of Californians who were "smart enough" to vote Jerry in may be "smart enough" to vote for his tax increases. Not too smart.

A tax break for businesses = jobs. Even "Billy the Kid" and such childish thinkers should be able to understand that a state, or country can not tax businesses into job creation and prosperity.
The code word "reform" = deform. For example, the California Tax Reform Assn. really means the California Tax Deform Assn.
Just the facts? 1, 200,000+ jobs have left California since 2005 under the Democratic led state legislature.

Hold on to your wallets, California!

Joshua Tree National Park: Climbing Jerry Brow...Image via Wikipedia
Well, here we go. Governor Jerry Brown. The man without a plan begins to unveil his plan upon us all. I don't know about the smoke and mirrors but what I heard heir Governor say was not all that hopeful.

He apparently thinks it will take honesty to tell us all we, as a state and individuals are out of luck. The question of how much we are overspending and supplementing and how "honest" Governor Brown is will let me know how serious he is about rising above HIS ideology. The fact that he brings up new taxes at all tells me he still just a tax and spend liberal.

I seem to recall that during his campaign he mentioned something about living within our means. For me that means that if I don't have the cash, whatever it is I would like to do or purchase (even if it's for my children), it is a big no can do until I have the cash. The problem with politicians, and if Jerry Brown is anything, he's a politician, is that they live off other peoples money. Jerry keeps bringing up the "No new taxes without peoples approval" mantra. That means he will take this year to demonstrate that "he" can't fix the budget by not cutting entitlement programs (because then who will vote for him). Then he will tell us we must raise more money = taxes. There will be (for himself) no other way around it. Californians will be shoveled propaganda about how we need to "sacrifice" and "invest". Never mind that all the investments of the past has proved to be stupid money foolishly spent. Investments produce something. What have the investments of our political leaders been producing? The product so far has been over 1,200,000 Californians have lost their jobs since 2005!

I call on Jerry Brown to take all talk of raising taxes off the table. I call on Jerry Brown to ask the unions that financed his campaign to take the lead in honesty and sacrifice. I call on Jerry Brown to ask the real hard questions like, "How long can California support those who do not work?" I am not talking about people who can not work. Forget the "everybody deserves" stuff. I call on Jerry Brown to ask the real questions about his beloved entitlement programs.

OK Jerry Brown, I am listening and watching.

Chinese nuclear bomb on display at "Our t...Image via Wikipedia

Again, over 1.2 million Californians lost their jobs since 2005. Who controls the state legislature, where laws are made? THE DEMOCRATS!!!
Jobs will be scarce until there is a change.
Jerry Brown, Barbara Boxer, Jane Harman, Maxine Waters...no change.

45? So what! In all of America 45 millionaires who side with Obama!? What do you morons think? That their is like 46, 47 millionaires in America. There is more than that within 5 miles of my house.
45. Big deal.

Lobbyists? Labor interests? Big no surprise.
Who did Brown say was in his pocket during that farce of a debate?
Here we go corrupt-o-cats. Business as usual for the party of welfare and no jobs

"But the same poll also found that voters oppose cuts to programs that account for 85 percent of the state budget."
That sounds like it leaves 15% to cut!
Time to cut the cord!!!
Welfare, also known as progressive enslavement program, has never helped, it only enslaves. Time to cut the cord.
I am a teacher. There is still pet projects and pets. I still see more teachers than students in LAUSD. 70,000+ students gone since 2002 means about 2,300 teachers are no longer needed. Time to cut the cord.
Let's see if Jerry Brown will really make the cuts or just Brown us with more taxes.

Harris over Cooley - Get it over with!
Now, we have a clean (?) sweep of Democrats.
Who will they blame, now that not one Republican is left to defend that rights of the middle class?
Get ready for the call for voters to approve taxing the so called rich.
Get ready for take overs of schools.
Get ready for industry to move the heck out of California with the jobs they have to business friendly states.
Over 1.2 million jobs have left California with a Democratic controlled legislature since 2005! And that was with some conservatives able to offer some balance. Now that we Californians foolishly voted in a simple majority vote...who will protect working Californians from the liberal "redistribution" tyranny?

The debacle has begun.
All Democrats all the time. (Here in Calefornia)
Even in the state legislature the simple majority will allow the foolishness to go unchecked.
No blame, just responsibility for their choices, ideology and methods.
Good night and good luck.

What will be interesting is when the left completely runs out of other peoples money.
Who are they going to get to "invest", all the hard working illegal immigrants?
Even the illegals will leave when the jobs leave.
OK, Democrats. Take us to the promised land. We're waiting.
*The LA Times would not post due to “profanity.”

Record Setting Cold in LA - Global warming? I guess Al Gore is not talking at this time so the air is clear.

Flush 'em Friday

Three Californians participating in a three wa...Image via Wikipedia
My fellow Californians! The rest of the country goes right and we stay to the left. What is wrong with you people!?

They say that socialism works great until you run out of other people's money. Wake up California! You ran out of money!!! But no, my fellow Californians want to just keep spending. They remind me of a fifth grade girl I once taught. When discussing jobs and money received for services she said, "No, you just get your money." I told her money doesn't just come out of nowhere for no reason and she said, "It comes in the mailbox on the first and the fifteenth." Yes she was a generational welfare recipient.

Californians have been hard hit by unemployment, city governments out of control, and a state legislature that had led us into this depression we are in. Our senators, representatives and mayors have proven over and over their ineptitude and yet we voted them in again.

We voted in (again) Jerry Brown who's first option is to seek our approval to raise taxes. He has already alluded to the fact that Californians may not be in the mood to take on more of a tax burden. Just that it crosses his mind demonstrates that his preferred method of raising tax revenue is by taxation, not my allowing businesses to flourish and thus create more jobs. And what kind of jobs is moonbeam thinking about? Jobs connected to the supposed stimulus bill. Jobs like building roads. That is temporary. That is not a business that  will supply jobs on an ongoing bases.

The question is will Californians realize by the next election that the liberals polocies of the Pelosi's, Brown's and Boxer's have destroyed jobs and created none.
Flush the following:
Jerry Brown
Barbara Boxer
Jane Harman
Maxine Waters
Nancy Pelosi
Gavin Newsom

Potholes, Potheads, and Politicians

A large pothole on a country road.Image via Wikipedia
Happy Friday everyone! I am glad it is Friday, it has been a week full of stuff that needed to be done. On this Friday I was thinking about what I would like to see dealt with and or removed. Maybe call it a Flush it Friday?

Here are three things I would like to see flushed from my life. The first is the every increasing, in number and girth, potholes on the streets I drive each day. There is a new one just outside my driveway smack dab in the middle of the road! Every time I come or I go that pothole must now be navigated. But, that is only one of the growing number of potholes I am noticing. I think city streets are showing the effects of the recession/depression we are in.

The next item on my list of "got to go's"  is the potheads trying to inflict their "need" upon the rest of us. Here in California there is a proposition to legalize marijuana. Only potheads would try to make an illegal substance legal under the guise of stopping the illegal drug trade. It doesn't make sense to me. But, many people didn't think a certain President inhaled... These potheads and their goofy "just make it legal and it won't be illegal any more" agenda must go.

Lastly, I would like to see some politicians make an exit. Just call me Senator Barbara Boxer and her save a fish cripple the farming industry policies must be removed. Jerry Brown and his silly "live within your means and no new taxes without voter approval" con of a platform must go. Live within your means means (for Democrats) no new services and maybe less. No new taxes without voter approval means Jerry Moonbeam Brown will ask Californians to pony up more money (citizens live on less while government lives on more). That is Jerry's plan! Not a good plan for me.

So, Californians, let's flush these things out of our state.
Happy Flush it Friday!

Jerry Brown, My Union and Me

Voting boothImage via Wikipedia
During elections I can always count on my union to send out their totally biased and frighteningly unconcerned with balance voters guide. In the past I have found it to be very helpful, if not disappointing. After I have studied up, to the best of my abilities, trying to see who is actually who and what they really stand for or against, I look to my unions voter guide to help make any final choices.

This voting season has proved to me again that although I can think of maybe two times I have agreed on a political candidate or issue with my union, the guide does provide me with a useful service. If I am not sure if a candidate is a nut, I check my unions voter guide. If he or she is recommended by my union I know for sure I should not, under any circumstances vote for said candidate. This season my union is backing (surprise!) Jerry Brown because they fear Meg Whitman will "ruin education." Yet, the teacher's union will turn a  blind eye to the state of affairs that J Brown left the Oakland school district in . Not only did he create a $100 million deficit, push the district to the edge of bankruptcy, he is also a huge proponent of charter schools. I know charter schools are a wonderful fad and a tiny minority have been successful, but, on the whole they are not  more successful than normal public schools even with the ability to cherry pick high achieving students and jettison those who prove to be "challenging." Charter schools do not need to operate under union control or rules. Charter schools are not a pro-union alternative. But, my union will back J Brown because he is a Democrat.

So, I call on my fellow educators to look beyond themselves, and not just let Jerry Brown and the Democrats fear you into voting submission. Why vote for someone who will tell you he will protect you and yet, toss you out in favor of the latest politically correct educational fad?

Loose Cannon Fire

Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (Oct. 7, 2003) -- Electro...Image via Wikipedia
Food for thought:

Democrats vs Republicans - The basic difference is the since 2005, under the leadership of Boxer and the Left over 1.2 million Californians have lost their jobs. She wants to continue those policies, such as shutting down farming for a non-endangered smelt fish. Jobs loss plus higher cost for food. Great leadership by B Boxer.
Boxer also supports crap like "protecting" teacher jobs for students that don't exist.
Money mismanagement 101 (Instructor: B Boxer).
Fiorina knows we need business to flourish if we want jobs for Californians.
VOTE FIORINA!!!!

Jane "the Pain" Harman - She encouraged audience members to vote on Nov. 2, and to stay engaged in public policy.
"We all depend on the best people, with the best skills," she said. "You are those people."
All South Bay voters should be encouraged to vote OUT Harman! She's clueless and companies are leaving with jobs in tow.

Octomom - Some things just should not be allowed. No laws needed, just basic common sense.
Wasn't eight enough?

Heaven help us if Jerry Brown wins.
Jerry Brown will be so "tough" on those nasty rich businesses that they will just move to a business friendly state and take their jobs with them.
Wake up California! Over 1.2 million jobs have been lost in California since 2005 under Democratic leadership!!!

Prop. 19 - Don't hold your breath tokers.
This Prop will blow over soon enough.

It is bad enough that I can't get from my apartment to my car without having to walk through some smokers cloud as they smoke outside their homes. Do I need a group of pot smokers too?
No on 19.

I hate the “polls” because the propaganda wing of the Democratic Party (the nightly news) loves to make it sound like “all” Californians are liberals.
It is time for conservatives to take the state!

Fanny and Freddie, just more evidence that the government can only mess things up.  The basic stance of Democrats is more government control. Reality tells us that more government is NEVER good.

My co-pay and pharmacy co-pays just doubled.
My emergency visit doubled too, from $50 to $100!
I supposedly have a good insurance plan.
How is this better?
Thanks Pres, thanks Dems.
Vote these people out!!!

Meg Whitman - I don't care how much she spends.
I care that she is willing to invest herself and her personal fortune to lead this great state back to greatness.
What does Jerry Brown offer? Who did he say was in his pocket?

If you have a few shots you'd like to add...take a shot!

California Needs a Brown Out

Jerry Brown and Jim JonesImage via Wikipedia
California needs a Brown out, a Jerry Brown out of office out. It is way past time for Jerry to retire. He still knows how to say stuff without saying anything of importance. He knows how to argue his point even if he doesn't really have one. He knows how sound like he believes one thing even though nothing he has done nothing that backs that up. He knows that the propaganda wing of his political party won't call him out and press him to actually say something meaningful. Jerry Brown knows how to be what he is, a career politician.

One thing I have heard Jerry say over and over is that he knows how to fix California, by living within our means and .... Ok, I agree that is a nice place to start, but has he ever done that? And will the California legislature, which is run by a Democratic majority, run him or will he stop them from their business as usual agenda? Not a chance. Jerry Brown is a lifelong Democrat with a history of moonbeam thought processes. I ask this, if Jerry Brown messed up the California economy the first time, why give him a second chance?
What is frightening about California is that J Brown leads in any kind of poll. I work in education and my union tells me that I should vote for Jerry Brown. Which is one reason why I will not vote for Jerry Brown. Just because J Brown is a Democrat any teacher's union will back the nut up. But, Jerry Brown is a BIG proponent of charter schools. Less than 1 in 5 charter schools are any better than any other pubic school and that is with the ability to cherry pick high preforming students and dump any problematic students if they are displaying any behavioral issues.

Get out and vote California, vote for a Brown out!

Brown Vs Whitman Final Debate

I'll admit I am biased toward the right. So, it would be pretty tough for Jerry to convince me to vote for him. He might be able to, if I just took what he said as the complete picture of who he is and didn't consider his past, who he really is. For instance, he says California needs green jobs. Whitman counters with the fact that only 3% of the jobs are green in California and what does Jerry plan to do about the other 97%? Brown just blew by the question and blathered on about Whitman wanting to give "rich" people tax breaks. Again, he didn't say that those same tax breaks would not help Californian's who are not (in his view) "rich."

I think Whitman has improved as a debater and did very well considering the obviously liberal crowd. I mean, come on, even Wild Bill Clinton recognized Jerry Brown was a self-serving re-invent yourself slouch (takes one to know one sort of thing). Yet the crowd cheered for Brown as he  made emphatic yet harmless points.  That Whitman was able to elicit any kind of positive response from that crowd was actually impressive. I don't think Brown made himself look like any less of an slime-ball in respect to the "whore" comment.

Browns main objective seems to me to try to convince Californians that now that he is older and married he is no longer a political knucklehead. If your a young voter you won't remember just what a reckless knucklehead he is. He didn't convince me. It doesn't seem like he has to convince your average Democrat. He just has to make sure he casts Whitman in a "rich taking from the poor" light. He will hope that the same people who vote for the likes of Maxine Waters and Barbara Boxer will vote blindly for him also.

The bottom line, over 1,200,000 jobs have been lost in California since 2005 alone under Democratic leadership. Vote the job killing, take your money, turn off your water money mongers out!

Which Californians Do You Say "Needs to Go?"

This Friday I'm starting a "Need to Go" list. These are the people in California who need to go.

1. State Senator Mark Leno, Democrat San Francisco: Because he authored the bill signed by conservative turned liberal puff governor Schwarzenegger by which "The bulk of the state's public schools will have to provide students with free and safe drinking water." Unfunded, ill conceived and will only take money from other needed resources at school sites in California.  Senator Leno is not funny, he must go.

2. Gloria Allred: This ambulance chasing leach who doesn't give a rip about illegal aliens is publicly abusing Senora Diaz Santillan for political gain in an effort to help her friend Jerry Brown. If she wanted "justice" for her "client" she would be in court, not on TV. This shark must go.

3.  Assemblyman Warren Furutani, Democrat South Los Angles County: Authored "a bill on Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's desk that would allow districts to water down the one provision California now has regarding second-language and art education." Taking a second language is not causing students to drop out. Forcing students to take Algebra in Middle School when most are not cognitively ready produces a culture of failure and dropouts in the name of "college readiness." Drop out Furutani, he needs to go.

4. The McCourts: The divorce is in the hands of the judge. I say part of the settlement is the team must be sold and both McCourts asked to leave the state. I've had enough of the McCourts, they must go.

5. Last but defenitely not least, Jerry Brown: During the debate with Meg Whitman he continually described a hard nosed politcian with Californians as his top priority. Who was he talking about, Ronald Reagan? He surely could not of been talking about himself. Just ask Wild Bill Clinton and CNN. Jerry Brown must go. Time to retire.

This is just a short list of those I would like to see no more. I would love to have you add your "favorites" to my list.
