Loose Cannon Fire

Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (Oct. 7, 2003) -- Electro...Image via Wikipedia
Food for thought:

Democrats vs Republicans - The basic difference is the since 2005, under the leadership of Boxer and the Left over 1.2 million Californians have lost their jobs. She wants to continue those policies, such as shutting down farming for a non-endangered smelt fish. Jobs loss plus higher cost for food. Great leadership by B Boxer.
Boxer also supports crap like "protecting" teacher jobs for students that don't exist.
Money mismanagement 101 (Instructor: B Boxer).
Fiorina knows we need business to flourish if we want jobs for Californians.
VOTE FIORINA!!!!

Jane "the Pain" Harman - She encouraged audience members to vote on Nov. 2, and to stay engaged in public policy.
"We all depend on the best people, with the best skills," she said. "You are those people."
All South Bay voters should be encouraged to vote OUT Harman! She's clueless and companies are leaving with jobs in tow.

Octomom - Some things just should not be allowed. No laws needed, just basic common sense.
Wasn't eight enough?

Heaven help us if Jerry Brown wins.
Jerry Brown will be so "tough" on those nasty rich businesses that they will just move to a business friendly state and take their jobs with them.
Wake up California! Over 1.2 million jobs have been lost in California since 2005 under Democratic leadership!!!

Prop. 19 - Don't hold your breath tokers.
This Prop will blow over soon enough.

It is bad enough that I can't get from my apartment to my car without having to walk through some smokers cloud as they smoke outside their homes. Do I need a group of pot smokers too?
No on 19.

I hate the “polls” because the propaganda wing of the Democratic Party (the nightly news) loves to make it sound like “all” Californians are liberals.
It is time for conservatives to take the state!

Fanny and Freddie, just more evidence that the government can only mess things up.  The basic stance of Democrats is more government control. Reality tells us that more government is NEVER good.

My co-pay and pharmacy co-pays just doubled.
My emergency visit doubled too, from $50 to $100!
I supposedly have a good insurance plan.
How is this better?
Thanks Pres, thanks Dems.
Vote these people out!!!

Meg Whitman - I don't care how much she spends.
I care that she is willing to invest herself and her personal fortune to lead this great state back to greatness.
What does Jerry Brown offer? Who did he say was in his pocket?

If you have a few shots you'd like to add...take a shot!

Fiorina's Opportunity vs Boxer Dependence

FreedomImage via Wikipedia
One of the great ideals our country holds dear is independence. We broke free from England . The American dream of succeeding on your own terms, live and let live, own your own home. I think that this ideal of independence is at the heart of much of the political debate and voting choices offered this year.

I woke up this morning and read that "Fiorina says she wants others to be able to rise to success." That got me to thinking. Opportunity is different than dependence. Opportunity is independence and a government bailout or program is dependence. Independence is freedom, while dependence is servitude. Isn't that what we are being asked to vote on? Do I want a candidate and a government that seeks to free me or make me dependent?

One candidate, Fiorina, believes that the government makes the American dream too hard for too many  people. The other candidate, Boxer, believes the government needs to do more to "help those people out." Boxer voted for and still believes in the Obama bail out. Fiorina  is against the bailout.

The Obama bailout that Barbara Boxer still backs helped big business, banks and car makers, not the American people. We, as American tax payers will be enslaved to that debt for the rest of our lives and will pass it on to our children just as the last government ponzi-scheme (Social-Security) has been passed down to us. Is that freedom? Not in my book!

Fiorina understands that California and the United States needs freedom from government shackles, not more.   Let me end with this thought. As compassionate and humanistic as welfare sounds, is it? Do people on welfare stay on welfare or move on to success? I have worked with students and families from LA projects for over 20 years, and the projects are living testaments that the welfare system only serves to keep down those it professes to help.

So, do you want freedom or government dependence? Vote for freedom.  Vote for Carly Fiorina!

Boxer Comes Out Swinging, Hits Herself

OAKLAND, CA - APRIL 17: Job Seeker Kenneth Ma...Image by Getty Images via @daylife
Have you seen Barbara Boxer's TV adds against Carly Fiorina? I am sure you have. Man, the old broad has come out swinging, throwing hay-makers all over the place. The adds depict Carly Fiorina as a heartless, greedy, and inept business person who outsourced jobs.

That is pretty brave of Barbara Boxer, considering how may jobs have been lost to Californians under her leadership. Since 2005, 1,289,700 (that's right ONE MILLION, TWOHUNDREDEIGHTYNINETHOUSAND, SEVENHUNDRED!!!) private sector jobs have been lost in California (as of July 2010). Now she has been in office for a lot longer than that, so, she can't blame it on someone else. Plus, her fellow Democrats hold the California state legislature and set the policies there. But, since she has been in office  (as of 2005), 38, 100 government jobs have been created, burdening the tax paying Californians with  an average cost of $90,000 per government employee.

I will say this, Barbara Boxer has protected a fish. She does believe the economy has been stimulated and she must be addressed as "Senator." She also likes to discuss "green" policies with possible Supreme Court Justices during Senate hearings.  I guess her favorite color is green, your green in someone's pocket.

In boxing, just because someone throws some wild hay-maker punches does not mean they are the better boxer, they just may be aggressive but out of control. I think that holds true in political debate.  Just because someone says some wild crazy things hoping to injure their opponent, doesn't mean  the statements will hit home. Under the leadership of Senator Barbara Boxer, we have seen wild ideas and uncontrolled spending drive our great state into the high-unemployment abyss. It seems to me that Barbara Boxer is throwing hay-makers and flaying away. To some she may seem aggressive, but to me she's just and old has been hoping for a knockout punch. Vote out Boxer!

Paper or Plastic or Bring Your Own Bag

The Trouble with Plastic BagsImage by jlwelsh via Flickr
In my lifetime I have seen a matter of simple choice evolve from simple to complicated to absurd. We used to go to the market and walk out with our groceries in paper bags. Then one day the bag-boy (or girl) asked, "Would you like paper or plastic?" Now I can buy a re-usable bag or use the "one-time use" plastic bags or I think if I request it I can still use paper bags. Now, it seems some folks are trying to take away my choice of paper or plastic!

I wonder if these are the same nuts who want to legislate my salt intake? Isn't there something else people can do with their time than worry about paper or plastic? Besides the fact that I find those plastic bags great for gathering recyclables what is the deal?

Now, I going to take a little stretch here and relate this to another choice Californians have.  Just like the paper or plastic choice has become absurd so has our Senator. We also get to choose who will be our next Senator, the old...Barbara Boxer or the new Carly Fiorina. For me it is a simple choice revolving around what has been and what should be. Barbara Boxer has left California in dire straights. All her liberals policies are killing the greatness of what was once California. Her insane need to "be green" has left us gang green with economic death. People and jobs are fleeing the state like I have never seen before. Like a plastic bag over a child's head, liberals policies have suffocated California.

California doesn't need to be more green, we need more jobs and more common sense. Boxer is so far out to the left she can not see the needs of her own state. Her record, which is the current state of the economy in California is the legacy of Boxer, Pelosi, and the Democratic state legislature. It is time for common sense Californians to vote these left-nuts out.

We need Fiorina and people like her to rebuild or once proud state.

Well, given the choice, I say no-thanks to the old bag.

Fiorina in and Boxer out!

GARDEN GROVE, CA - NOVEMBER 4: Former Hewlett...Image by Getty Images via @daylife
SACRAMENTO, CA – U.S. Senate candidate Carly Fiorina today issued the following statement in response to the Office of Management and Budget report released this afternoon projecting that the federal deficit will hit a record $1.47 trillion this year:

“Today’s report underscores just how deep a pit Barbara Boxer and Washington have dug for the people of this country. Under their watch, unemployment continues to soar, and we now know our federal deficit will reach a record $1.47 trillion this year. Still, Boxer remains intent on spending even more of taxpayers’ money and continues to talk about even more earmarks and even more government growth.

“It is painfully clear that Barbara Boxer and her colleagues in Washington have spent far too much of our money – and have no intention of changing direction anytime soon. Americans are already on the hook for billions of dollars in bailouts, and we simply cannot afford another six years of Boxer’s free-spending ways. Barbara Boxer obviously has no intention of making the tough choices necessary to set our nation on a path toward fiscal sanity, which is why we must replace her this November with a senator who will.”
PTVoice is voting for Carly Fiorina!

Barbara Boxer Ideas Are Green Like Moss

Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) meets with Suprem...Image via Wikipedia
Barbara Boxer is so focused on being green she is totally clueless to the fact that her state is going down the tubes! During the mockery of a hearing for the nomination for Elena Kagan for Supreme Court Justice Barbara "call me Senator" Boxer focused on green questions.

If that doesn't demonstrate the level of distance the Senator is from reality, what does?

During the hearing I e-mail Senator Boxer expressing my concerns about Elena Kagan. I received a postmortem response.

If California is to lift itself out of the current financial slump/depression we will need new leadership.

Go Fiorina!

Boxer Bashes Fiorina

The infamous Barbara “call me Senator” Boxer spent the day on the campaign  trail bashing her Republican opponent Carly Fiorina. Boxer blathered on and on trying to paint Fiorina as a failed business woman who laid off thousands of employees and sent jobs to China.

I’m not sure if the Senator has noticed the employment crisis in California under her leadership. People and businesses are vacating California faster than Boxer can say, “Save the smelt!”

In education alone record numbers of teachers have been laid off and will hit the unemployment numbers with brutal force. Police officer and fire fighter positions are being cut state-wide to meet the financial crisis that Barbara Boxer believes is already solved because the Obama administration told her it is.

The farming industry is hampered because of a smelt fish.
Companies like Nissan have left and others are considering a move to a state that does not tax the life out of it.

Boxer dares to attack Fiorina on jobs while she has done squat divided by two for California. I know she’ll say that the stimulus package is working, but, if she is honest….that’s not going to happen.

Boxer’s idea’s are like my “green energy saving light bulbs,” they cost more and do less.

Can Californians afford to vote Barbara Boxer in for another term of senseless ideas, useless measures, save the smelt but kill the economy and cripple the business community platitudes? I say no! Barbara Boxer she must go!
