Loose Cannon Fire the 1 26 13 Edition

The following is simply loose cannon fire I shot at various newspapers. Enjoy! And feel free to add some of your own in the comment section.

  • This is just classic Jerry Brown bla bla bla. Cut funds for the uninsured while expected more uninsured. Take money from local school districts to redistribute to the more needy and English learner (districts?) while giving local school districts more control of what ever is left. More "funding" for green energy. That is the biggest sham. What green energy? My green in someone else's pocket to secure their vote. Thanks moonbeam. I give it an over under of 6 to 9 months before he is asking for voter approved taxes of those nasty businesses who are moving to state that realizes taxing business reduces capital to hire employees/taxpayers.
  • The dumbest thing about the platinum coin is the problem with all ideas that have to do with money coming from Democrats. No one asks, "How are you going to pay for it?" I know J Foxx thinks Obama is god but, many must think he can create platinum by fiat. I know, they would just ask the rich to, fairly, pay a little more. Which like we saw in the fiscal cliff solution means the working class will pay again.
  • I wish that common sense had anything to do with how the liberal mind works, but it does not. The ability to be confronted with a question, ignore it, and ask another question, thus avoiding any real issue, is a core skill for all liberals. Using common sense to find a reasonable answer is out of the question.
  • As usual E.J. has said a whole lot about nothing. Democrats push for more government and never pay for it. No, Clinton did not , he borrowed from Social Security and did not pay it back. Republicans like Reagan used to push for smaller government and payed the bills and built prosperity. Bush, acting like a Democrat created more government thus pissing off true conservatives who revolted with the Tea Party.
    • The question E.J. and all liberals will avoid (usually with a question about "social justice") is whether the country is better off than it was when CastrObama began as el Presidente
  • I never cease to be amazed by some who believe that progressive policies can actually lead to continued prosperity. Reality is not significant. The truth is spin and citizens are stupid sheep.
  • O Eugene, you are what you are; a leftist propagandist. The issue is that for whatever reason the Benghazi situation was mishandled and American lives were lost, it will happen again if the same people are not held accountable. You, Eugene refuse to hold the President responsible for his administration.
    • You are right to be concerned about future threats, but, failing to call Hillary to account, which at some point to the man in charge, and childishly accuse the GOP of irrationality, will only assure that in the future other American lives will be risked needlessly.
    • If you are more than a puppet, Eugene, honestly question your leadership.
  • As usual, the green job myth is always in the future. Jerry's big idea is, "he wants to refine California’s environmental protection laws so they don’t unnecessarily hold up development projects that create jobs." PROJECTS THAT CREATE JOBS! Where are the NOW jobs? They are as far as they can get from your regulations! YOU CAN NOT TAX BUSINESS INTO CREATING NEW JOBS. Jerry B and the California Dems are proving that their policies KILL jobs. Again.

LOOSE CANNON FIRE FOR THE WEEK

The following is some loose cannon fire from the last week. Feel free to leave some of your own.

The problem for the GOP, and the United States of America, is that reality is just no longer important. The perception of reality as politicians and the media portray it are important because it allows the ruling class to manipulate the citizens.
Reality, individuals can not spend more than they take in. Governments are the same. Yet , bailouts and borrowing make it appear to be possible. Eventually someone wants their money because they need it now.
Raising the debt ceiling is like taking out another credit card to pay the previous card.
STOP THE INSANITY!

Again EJ speaks crap as is it is truth. How much debt to you personally have EJ? If the mythical "Affordable Health Care" bill is lowering prices why has mine doubled since el Presidente took over? Why have so many states rejected it because it is not so affordable?
Now, about the really deceptive phrase "Tax Reform". Reform spoken by a politician or a liberal media propagandist such as DJ just means deform and with taxes that just means tax the populace into submission. Nothing this President has done has improved the state of living for the middle class. And enslaving millions via dependence on welfare is the most hideous and evil.
EJ, you are the problem.

I love that story about Lincoln and Grant. And I completely agree that the republican party needs to buck it up and keep the the ideals that the party has stood for. The one thing that needs to be done is to articulate the message around the mainstream media. Pass the whiskey!

Here's the deal. It doesn't matter what the object is, if the person controlling it chooses to assault someone with said object, they will. Or they may choose not to do harm. The problem with your idea is that reality doesn't fit into it. Banning assault magazines or weapons will not stop  someone from either obtaining them illegally or finding another way to do harm.
I do not own a gun. I am not a member of the NRA. But, I know some people who do own guns and are members. The are smart enough to know Pelosi's double speak. The only thing her policies will do is disarm the public.

I'm with you Mark Thiessen. I think the GOP should ask for $2 of cuts for every $1 spent. The GOP has to make a stand.
American's are still in bondage to FDR's Social Security pyramid scheme and now we have the not so affordable "Affordable Health Care" bill to shackle any available limbs. So, make a stand GOP. No spending without cuts.

"We (the working class) must sacrifice so that we (the ruling class) may reap the benefits!" - CastrObama

Brown's Approval Soars!!?

The Daily Breeze announced that Governor Jerry Brown's  approval rating has soared to 48%! Well, doesn't that mean 52% don't approve? 52% think he sucks. 52% realize Governor "Moonbeam" isn't orbiting the same planet that his state exsists on.

Jerry's BEST idea and only idea is to tax "the rich". Meanwhile, back on the farm, companys and jobs are leaving CA like rats from a sinking ship.

What does higher taxes mean? A lower standard of living. But, don't get me wrong, tax the rich. I especially like the idea of a 50% tax on movie stars, movie makers, mogals and professional athletes.
I DARE YOU.

52% don't approve.

No Tax Tuesday and the Blame Game 8 16 11 Edition

Dr. Seuss cartoonImage via Wikipedia
Happy No Tax Tuesday! I trust you all are doing well.

As the campaign season edges towards us with the field narrowing I wonder what the dialogue will be like.

My main concern is if the media will allow the left to dictate the debate on everything, especially taxes. Whenever I hear a Democrat use the word or term "investment" I know there will be no positive return for me.

Let me ask this: What happened to all the "investments" of President Clinton? I seem to remember that the Clinton's placed a tremendous emphasis on Not Smoking. I guess it did little to stop our current President from smoking.

Way back in the 1960's then President L.B. Johnson pushed threw the Federal Department of Education and a thing called Title I. Quite and investment that has been. No Child Left Behind demanded that if districts and schools received Title I dollars they should prove they were actually helping students progress. Someone described NCLB as Title I with teeth. I work with a ton of Democrats and they all denounced NCLB like it was bill to once again allow slavery. I always remind them it is simply asking schools and districts to show they are using the funds responsibly.

My simple point is this: will the debate be about blame as President Obama is already heading or will the media hear the public outcry and demand that tax dollars be used reasonably and responsibly or just for the securing of votes to maintain power?

I end with a little poem left on Chuck Norris' site.

It is titled "Dr. Seuss 2011":
I do not like this Uncle Sam, I do not like his health care scam.
I do not like these dirty crooks, or how they lie and cook the books.
I do not like when Congress steals, I do not like White House backdoor deals.
I do not like when they kick the financial can, I do not like this 'YES, WE CAN!'
I do not like their spending sprees. Why can't they get it -- nothing's free.
I do not like their smug replies, broken promises and corruption ties.
I do not like this kind of hope. I do not like it -- Nope nope nope!

No Tax Tuesday: Stop The Ringmaster 7 26 11 Edition

Trash Truck Compacting JunkImage by Eric Z Disposal via Flickr
Happy No Tax Tuesday!

I looked at the paper this morning and the headline reads, "Obama: End debt 'circus'". Really? Didn't the President and the Democrats increase the debt by railroading bills through without even being read? You see I grew up with the ethic that if I created a mess I should clean it up. Don't ask someone else to clean it up for you. Now I have the President of the United States of America asking to borrow money that he will NOT pay back to clean up as in pay for the insanely stupid and useless bills and policies he has inflicted upon us all, Democrat, Republican and independents alike. It is time for the Ringmaster to stop clowning around and deal with the mess he made.

The mess is this awful healthcare deform and economic policies that even his own party says are not working. Now, Obama wants me and my children and their children to clean up his stupid mess! No. Clean up and get out. I don't like that my healthcare costs have doubled since Obama, Pelosi, Reed and the Democrats passed a healthcare bill without reading the fine print. Do your own pooper-scooping, Mr. President.

I don't like that there are Czars for every conceivable deceptive control act imaginable. I despise people who arrogantly believe that we, as American citizens, are not smart enough or self-controlled enough to decide if our children should eat a happy meal or put salt on our food! By-the-way, Obama has 32 Czars, the most ever by any President. Czars do what? There are Climate, Afghanistan, Car, Auto Recovery Act, California Water Czars, and the list goes on. What do they get payed? I give up. What? Their pay is listed as between unknown (most), $158,500, $172,000, $197,000. Well, if the circus loses these clowns that would save at least $3M, not to mention any staff or office space costs.

In the end, if the ringmaster and chief Obama wants to end the circus he should he should make some tough cuts and stop trying to put on a show.

Liberals Love to Scape Goat

The ScapegoatImage via Wikipedia
I work with a lot of bleeding heart liberals and one of the frustrating parts of any conversation is the way they frame their questions. I think it is where they say, "But don't you think..." insert some phrase like, "Babies deserve health care? It's not their fault that they were born into poverty." While it is true that it is not the babies fault that it was born into poverty, it isn't mine either.

There is the problem. Liberals love to set up a straw man scape goat in the form of the greedy, malicious, set on everyone else as they climb to the top, capitalistic rich people (usually white). Wealthy white liberals love to point  at all other (usually conservative) white and declare, "Those white rich people, not us".

Well, I am tired of the liberal nonsense. There is a difference between a right and a right to pursue. The constitution speaks of the right to pursue happiness. Nowhere is happiness, healthcare, minimum wages, or much else guaranteed. Happiness is not guaranteed. I think our founding fathers knew that even if you got what you where pursuing you still might not be happy. But, the liberal dogma of "everybody deserves" demands that someone arbitrates who has too much and must redistribute from one person to another. That is where all dictatorships are born, in the egocentric heart and mind of those who think they will solve all the problems by making everything equal.

Think about it.

Who's the bully now?

Bullying on IRFE in March 5, 2007, the first c...Image via Wikipedia
It's not that I don't know that bullying is an issue. I work with disciple at a Middle School! I can't tell you the number of phone calls I have had with concerned parents when it comes to bullying. So, you might think that when I read about President Obama speaking out against bullying I would be quite pleased. Actually, I think the President should be more concerned about global bullies like that thug Gadhafi  in the middle east then his future voting block now on middle school campuses.

I have enough trouble with the micro managing knuckle heads in the local district offices who make decisions based on how things would affect their careers rather than what is right or wrong or even what would ultimately teach a particular student what is right or wrong. Why doI need the federal government reaching its' slimy hands way down to us?

But, hats off to the President for taking such a strong stand on such a crucial global issue. This is a beautiful example of how a President can influence society. It reminds me of the Clinton's anti smoking smoke screen. Taking a stand against smoking and bullying sounds goods and who would disagree except smokers and bullies?  I don't notice any decrease in smokers. I just find them more annoying.

Finally, isn't the current President the biggest bully of them all? He wants to "re-distribute" everyone else's "wealth". He has taken over 1/6 of the economy with Obama-care. Do I have a choice under his plan? Is that really a choice? What are community organizer who hire and direct groups of thugs, I mean "protesters", to go an assail and hassle an opponent into submission but bullies by another name? I ask you, who's the bully?

No Tax Tuesday: What would the Fathers say?

Mount RushmoreImage by Travis S. via Flickr

There is a reason are founding fathers were able to set the course of our great country. They hated government intrusion into their lives and recognized the danger and evil that any government will inflict upon its' people if allowed to become the center of power.

Thomas Jefferson:
The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.To compel a man to furnish funds for the propagation of ideas he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.

George Washington:No taxes can be devised which are not more or less inconvenient and unpleasant.
I wonder what our founding fathers would say about the government that now inflicts itself upon its' people? Would they call for a second revolution? Would they call us to arms to defend ourselves against the tyranny of big government out of control? What would they say to those who assail their constitution as a group of antiquated ideals?

No Tax Tuesday: No Need for Federal Waste 2.15.11

A money changer deviceImage via Wikipedia
The Federal Government has a place. Just how much of a place is enough? When it is just a waste of money and a matter of big government payouts, that is too much.

I think when I send my hard earned money in the form of taxes to the government the stewardship of its use should be of utmost importance. The problem is that just by the fact that the federal arm of the government touches the money once costs more than it is worth. Why? Because at the very least scores of people are paid to dole out the money in forms of grants to states. Think of it like this: You "invest" in an IRA that claims big returns, but, in reality charges a 10% handling fee. Even if the IRA did make a 7% profit it would be a 3% loss. There is no profit (for tax payers) with taxes. There is only loss.

So, I say, if tax funds are used for state issues such as education and welfare, let the money be collected by the states and handled by the states. Less red tape, less government waste. The results would be less taxes with better results.

Job Creation via Government?

Bunker Hill in downtown Los Angeles as seen fr...Image via Wikipedia
It looks like LA Mayor Antonio Villarigosa is planning on lobbying the new congress and President Barack Obama on strategies to help create jobs. This is why Los Angeles and California are in the horrendous condition they are in financially. Herein lies the problem with all Democrats and liberals: the solution to business problems are, in their belief system, in government regulation and "funding." What is telling is also that La Mayor does not go to his Governor first. He knows his state has no money, but, the feds will at least print some more up if they feel they need money. La Mayor is not looking to help businesses flourish in a free market system, he is looking for a handout.

It can't be the mythological green jobs candidate Jerry Brown promoted during his run for Governor but has scarcely mentioned since would help LA or La Mayor would seek those. If green jobs were the answer La Mayor would surely know how to open up opportunities for small business entrepreneurs and thus create jobs all over LA.

Here's the deal: Job creation via government intervention is only as good as the intervention lasts. In other words, when the funding stops, so do the jobs. So called infrastructure creation such as roads is really just government payouts to unions. If the roads do not produce an industry that will outlast the funding they are only temporary jobs, government payouts.

As I drive around Los Angeles I see empty building that once housed industries. Industries that created products not dependent on government subsidies. Industries that provided jobs for my grandparents and parents. Where are they now? Some are out of state, some are overseas. Why? Maybe we should ask the likes of Democrat Jane Harman who when informed of the loss of over 500 jobs in her district was "blindsided" and "didn't see it coming". Clueless. We dare not go there for help. That is why I will repeat myself and say that since 2005, under the Democratic legislature California has lost over 1,200,000 jobs and counting.

So, off you go Antonio. Ask the POTUS if can print some money to send California's way to "create" handouts, err, I mean jobs.

67% Income Tax Increase. Really?

No New Taxes!Image by macprohawaii via Flickr
I just have to say it. What the #$%*!? are these people thinking? In Illinois the state legislature voted to abuse the citizenry by raising the state income tax rate up to 67%! What kind of senseless person thinks that people can live on LESS money than they already are? It looks like most of the representatives we vote in. And what is the payoff for this abuse? More mismanaged government.

Why should any citizen think that those who have run our government into catastrophic debt and uselessness should be given the power to TAX us anymore? Why would any person with an once of sense even entertain the notion that Americans need to be taxed which is only punishment and abuse, to pay for the foolish use of our tax dollars? We should not.

The actions of the Illinois legislature is a warning to all America. Beware! The people in government are by and large power hungry want a be despots. We the people are here to serve their political agendas. On this the Tea Party is absolutely spot on. We are Taxed Enough Already!

A Few Things Conservative

Republican Party Handbill, ca. 1880Image by Cornell University Library via Flickr
I am not terribly happy with the Republican party. As a conservative, I tend to vote Republican. But, I am not pleased with many politicians who call themselves Republicans. My issue is not because they the Republican Party is not left enough or more "moderate" or "center." My issue is that the Party seems to respond more to the propaganda and foolishness spewed from the left. If I wanted to be more of a liberal  or progressive (an oxymoron if there ever was one) I would simply join the Democratic party.

Let me get a few things straight. First of all as a conservative, my rights and your individual rights are of supreme importance. This country was founded on the ideal, which is equally true and meaningful today as it was in the 1700's, each person has the unalienable right to live their life without (or as little as possible) government interference.

The fruit of my labor is the fruit of my labor, not yours. The fruit of your labor is the fruit of your labor, not mine. In other words, my money is not your money and your money is not my money. Neither is our money the governments money. I do not believe that any individual or government is endowed with the wisdom and benevolence to decide who deserves what. .History has only demonstrated how evil individuals and governments are when given power. If the idea that governments were by nature helpful and just then the United States of America would not have come to be.

To me government is like a gun. A gun can be useful for certain situations, like self-defense and hunting, but in the wrong hands they can do a lot of damage. That is why an individuals rights to his or her own money is so important. Think about Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and Welfare. They all sound like nice humane ideals but, they now enslave us. And our elected officials deceive us by borrowing from the money we the people have been forced to "invest" in these scams. So, there is not actual cash, just IOU's in the form of bonds or notes, whatever.

My concern, as a conservative, is that my elected officials are playing god with my money, and your money. they don't earn it, we do. They use these programs as means to buy votes and stay in power. And what are we, as the people getting out of our so called "investments?" Debt and more taxes.

Where will our leaders take us?

IMG_0725.jpgImage by matiasjajaja via Flickr
As 2011 begins I wonder where our countries leadership wishes to take us. The frightening reality is that I do not hear much that would lead me to believe that anything will be much different. The president has already begun the we need to raise the debt limit campaign. The Republicans are calling for cuts.

My problem is that I have heard all this before, my whole life. Yet, government keeps growing and my net income does not, it gets smaller and weaker. My dollar seems to get me less. The government oozes into more and more of my daily life. Just this year California passed some ridiculous laws. The same group of people who can't buy the appropriate nut for a bolt want to regulate gift toys with Happy Meals. Now they want to control the amount of salt I intake. Just how stupid do lawmakers think you and I, average citizens are? Pretty stupid if they believe you and I need them to make decisions about how much salt should we put on our fries!

I don't have to be a great economist or certified public accountant to know that you can't spend more than you make and that you can't have more debt than you can pay for. I also realize that if I am broke, I can't spend money I don't have. I could borrow some money, but, if I don't have the means to pay for it...

The problem ,as I see it, is that my government sees me (and you) as its' means to pay off debt.

So, maybe it's not about where our leadership wants to take us but, what our government and Representatives believe they are entitled to take from us.

The POTUS calls the GOP anti-business?

LONDON - OCTOBER 10: The Evening Standard news...Image by Getty Images via @daylife
The President accused the the GOP of blocking small business growth. What? To me that is like a wolf accusing a deer of being a predator. Since when has a Democrat been for business of any kind?

All Democrats ever want to do is tax those evil profit pirates and act like they (Democrats) are the modern equivalents of Robin Hoods, taking from the evil rich and redistributing money to the poor and needy. The problem is that money never seems to actually get to those who truly need it. How else can they pay for a Redistribution Czar?

Now the POTUS wants me to believe that suddenly wants he wants to give tax cuts to businesses? Taxing is the Democrats preferred method of redistributing "wealth." He also wants to give money to banks to loan to small businesses. We saw how that worked out with the first "Stimulus" bill. The banks don't need the money, small businesses need the money.

Here's the deal: The more that the government "helps" the more they mess things up and mess up the natural corrections of the market. When governments intervene they only delay and worsen the negative effects. Who gets hurt? Employees and small business owners suffer the most from government intervention. Because government intervention normal involves the word tax. Tax means less money to give raises, hire new employees, and expand the business. Taxes mean I work  longer to maintain the same standard of living.

No thanks, Mr. President, just try to get out of the way.

No Tax Tuesday!

ReadMySignImage by Seven_Null7 via Flickr
How about a No Tax Tuesday, once a month?
Consumers don't pay taxes on purchases.
Businesses don't pay taxes on sales.
Employees don't have to pay income tax, State or Federal!
For one Tuesday a month you keep what you earn!

How about a visit to the gasoline pump? Nationwide we pay about 62 cents per gallon (cpg)of taxes. If you buy 10 gallon of gas that's about $6.20. In California it is more like 63.9 cents per gallon or $6.40. My family owns two vehicles and it takes more like 30 gallons to fill up which means about $20.00 in taxes. No Tax Tuesday means I pay about $20 less.

Now, I have two school aged children and it's back to school shopping time. Here in the formerly great state of California we pay 9.75% sales tax. So, for every $100 I actually only buy $90.25 of clothes. Spending $400 is not that hard for back to school stuff. The breakdown on $400 is $39 for the government and $361 for my children.

Now, if No Tax Tuesday includes my income for that day...well now we're talking. If I was only in the 25% tax bracket (state and federal) that would be $25 for every $100 dollars earned. If I make $200 a day that's $50.

So, if I save $20 on gas, $39 on clothes, and $50 on taxes that comes out to $109. Now, I can do a lot more for my family with that money than the government waste plans can do.

What about you? What do you think about a NO TAX TUESDAY?

What's thine is mine, the liberal way.

A political cartoon published in 1909 crticisi...Image via Wikipedia
Every now and then something happens that just crystallizes a particular idea I have. Yesterday, I had one of those moments.

One of my co-workers is a liberal. She claims to be conservative personally, but, a liberal politically. That is sort of like being on a diet when you are not eating but a glutton when you are eating.

As we are working a "client" enters the room. We are supposed to have all our "clients" sign-in whenever they come by. She looks around for a pen and sees she does not have one. She asks me if I have one. Of course I do, as an ex-construction worker, I know to never come to work without my tools. Apparently she has never been sent back home without pay for not bringing her tools. Anyways, I look for one of my extra ones that I wouldn't mind not receiving back, because of course this is not the first time there has been a pen shortage in the office.  She sees a nice  gel tip pen (which I was reaching for to give her),  points at it and declares, "Give me that one, you have two!" (Spoken with just a bit of attitude like I would be selfish for having thought ahead and brought not one but two pens to work in case one ran out of ink.)

"Spoken like a true liberal." I replied. "I have two, you forgot to bring your own so what is mine is yours because you think you have the right to redistribute my pen wealth. Back in the day we used to call taking something that wasn't yours stealing. How liberal of you."

My colleagues response; her mouth stayed shut (which normally does not), and she closed her eyes because she knew I called it right.

Now, I know it was just a pen, all was said in fun, but, the truth is, liberals do believe they have the right to decide who keeps what. I earn it, you earn it , liberals give it to whom they see fit.

No thanks.  I rather be free to give a pen than have my government steal it from me.

I Need Hope

SANTA MONICA, CA - APRIL 15: Demonstrators ga...Image by Getty Images via @daylife

I don’t think I have been this depressed since watching Pink Floyds The Wall. I read an article in my local fish-wrap this weekend, Don’t count Obama out as he preps for act two, by Charles Krauthammer.

After describing how Obama has changed over one-sixth of the economy by shoving his health careless bill down our collective throats, Krauthammer explains that the financial bill that will create some 243 new regulations and give government unprecedented power in the financial marketplace. Remember, power does what? Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely!  Then he discussed the stimulus package that has created “ruinous” deficits that are “not easily reversed.”

I have to just quote at this point. “The result? There just isn't enough to cut elsewhere to prevent national insolvency. That will require massive tax increases - most likely a European-style value-added tax. Just as President Ronald Reagan cut taxes to starve the federal government and prevent massive growth in spending, Obama's wild spending - and quarantining health care costs from providing possible relief - will necessitate huge tax increases.”

But wait, there’s more. Act Two will be “massive regulation of the energy economy, federalizing higher education and "comprehensive" immigration reform (i.e., amnesty) - will require a second mandate, meaning re-election in 2012.”

Here’s the deal, I knew I would not like the policies of then Senator Obama because he is a Democrat. What was hidden from me and American’s Republican, Democrat, and Independent voters alike, was just how far to the left, just how “progressive” (which is an oxymoron if ever there was one) Obama actually is.

So, what will we do as Americans? I am afraid that staunch, entrenched Republican and Democrat politicians  are too concerned with reelection and too deep in political crap to help. I like the Tea Party because they are not controlled by the Republican guard. I don’t like groups like the Coffee Party and whatever they are trying to name themselves because they are just puppets for the Democratic guard.

Who will really work for us?

Do you want Boxer in or out?

OAKLAND, CA - OCTOBER 30: U.S. Sen. Barbara B...Image by Getty Images via @daylife
I don't know about you, but I want Barbara Boxer out as Senator from California. I can't think of a single reason why Barbara Boxer is good for me, my family, my city, my state or my country.

She is bad for me because she votes for dumb taxes. The bottom line is that she believes that my hard earned dollars ( in liberalism that = wealth) needs to be distributed by her to someone else.  That means less money for me and more for someone who hasn't earned it.

She is bad for my family because she votes for dumb taxes. That means less money for my family and more for someone who didn't earn it.

She is bad for my city because she pushes "green" issues and votes to tax businesses. That means less money for local businesses, big and small, which means less money to hire employees or pay them higher wages.

She is bad for my state because she is so green that she is more concerned about smelt than people and jobs. That means she will vote to shut down the heartland of the California farming industry to ensure that a non-endangered fish has more habitat.

She is bad for my country because she stands with liberals who actually think they can tax the country into prosperity. That means she will hamstring businesses with taxes, in the name of "paying their fair share," which will obviously make it more difficult if not impossible to grow and as is happening, businesses will just move .

That is the short version of why I will not be voting for Barbara "call me Senator" Boxer.

Tell me, do you want Barbara Boxer in or out?
