Happy Flush 'em Friday! Time to flush a few groups that just get on my nerves and bother me.

Mike D'Antoni - so long and thanks for all the fish. You were actually a good sport. You might look up the word defense.
Mike Brown - details without creativity is deadly.
Mike Wallace - ask a real question of the POTUS, I dare you.

San Jose Sharks - 3 - 0 to 3 - 4 as fast as you can say Los Angeles Kings.
Shark Bait
Sharkeisha - everyone I've known whose name ends with a -eisha has been trouble.
Sharknado - wow, on par with Howard the Duck.

Jay Carney - taking BS to hitherto unknown levels.
Jay Mohr - he just needs a whirly twirly.
Jay Jay - no, no.
Jay Z - Z because it's as far as he could go.

There you have it, there you go.

The Lakers, My Bracket, The Foreign Policy of O and Keith Olbermann on Flush 'em Friday the 3 21 14 Edition

Welcome to Flush 'em Friday! It's time to give a good old whirly-twirly to some well deserving dufus. Here are this weeks nominees.

The Lakers season...who are those guys in Lakers uniforms?

My Brackets...this is why I am not a betting man.

The POTUS's "don't go there" to Putin. Not the same as Regan's
"take down that wall".

Keith Olbermann...few have been able to master the art of saying so little by saying to much while attempting to pass off the ideas of others as his own.

The ACA, Senators, Representatives, the POTUS on Flush 'em Friday the 11 1 13 Edittion

Happy Flush 'me Friday! Time to send some very worthy nominees down the drain.

If you don't want to flush the so called "Affordable Care Act" you might be a liberal dufus.
So, let's flush:

  • The Affordable Care Act because apparently isn't affordable.
  • Each and every moron of a senator and representative that voted for the ACA. Especially the  ones who were immorally stupid enough to vote it in just to see what was in it!
  • Each and every member of the liberal propaganda machine also known as the press.  You knew it was a mess. You knew the con man selling it lied like a dog on a rug with a flea. Yet, you allowed yourselves to be gutless puppets and complicit liars yourselves.
  • Each and every gullible person who voted in the senators, representatives and president who will inflict this awful ACA upon innocent, hardworking Americans.
  • The POTUS. He flat out lied. He knew he was lying. He lied to purposefully deceive the American people.
  • If you still think the ACA is a success and was actually meant to help you. Flush yourself.

Flush 'em Friday: The 7 1 11 Edition

Numero quatro: Almost thereImage by insidious and subtle M via Flickr
Happy July! Happy Flush 'em Friday, the 7 1 11 Edition!!

The weather is warming up here in SoCal and the plunger seems ready to go, so let's get to those and that which needs to be Flushed right down the old draino!
  • Tightly sealed potato chip bags that explode and send your chips like shrapnel around the room.
  • Bad food servers who act snobby.
  • MSNBC for firing someone who called a Richard a Dick, for being a ...
  • The POTUS for saying anyone who disagrees with him is not reasonable. Grow up man!
  • Journalists (and I use the term very loosely) who let the President go on and on about tax breaks that in the end are pretty petty and amount to less than .03% of the mess his stimulus put the country in.
  • The same group of pathetic excuses for journalists who (not one single one!) asked why if the President was so against the tax break for private jets did he include it in his stimulus package!!!
  • E.J.Dionne for being the classless liberal propaganda member he is. If you're so smart why didn't you point that out?
  • Car adds that tout a low price but it is not the car in the picture or one you might actually want to drive.
  • Janice Hahn because LA and the South Bay can't endure her brand of politics any longer.
  • Soccer parents who are afraid to cheer for their child or yell at him/her to "go get the ball!"
  • Free e-books that have a sign-up fee.
Do you have anyone you think needs a flushing? Tell me. I'd love to help you out!!!

Spend to Save?

PayoutImage by be OH be via Flickr
AP - President Barack Obama is sending Congress a $3.73 trillion spending blueprint that pledges $1.1 trillion in deficit savings over the next decade through spending cuts and tax increases.
Excuse me? Spend $3.73 TRILLION to save $1.1 TRILLION over 10 years!?
#1. Unless the plan is to limit and or cut entitlement programs no control is real or sustainable.
#2. Raising taxes will only hurt those who pay the taxes which ALWAYS turns out to be the middle classes (=me, you).
#3. Sending money to the federal government to dole out back to the states is just a massive money laundering operation and waste of tax payers money.
#4. When a politician (whatever the party) says investment what they mean is payout to a group of people to ensure they will get re-elected.

The facts of life are that money spent is money gone or money owed and savings is only savings if it is actual money in an actual place.

Pastor Jones vs the POTUS

BAGHDAD, IRAQ - AUGUST 14: A poster depictin...Image by Getty Images via @daylife
It looks like Pastor Jones was able to do something our spineless Castro want-to-be president was unwilling to do; find and talk to a Muslim who agrees with the rest of America that a Mosque near Ground Zero may not be a good idea, religious freedom aside.

Would you put a strip club next to an elementary school? No, because it would be entirely inappropriate, basic common sense. If I need to explain it to you, you are probably a leftist. Go to the closest shooting range and offer your services as a target.

Seriously,  does the POTUS and the leadership on the left really believe the majority of Americans, Republican or Democrat think "religious freedom" does not include some good old common sense? It does not look like the Left believes in common sense not do they truly believe in the freedom of speech.

Here's the deal; it is a true exercise of freedom to be a Christian yet, it is not an exercise in freedom to blow up people who think differently than you on something like abortion. In the same way, anyone has the freedom to believe as a Muslim, but, it is not freedom to be a radical Jihadist that believes in destroying anyone who does not follow Muslim beliefs.

Simple. Why is it confusing for Democrats?

Help for Teachers or Hurt for Education?

Pres. Wilson addressing Congress (LOC)Image by The Library of Congress via Flickr
So the POTUS and the congress pushed through another bill aimed at helping teachers and other civil servants. Although I am an educator I am not sure if this bill is a good thing for education. The bill is aimed at saving teachers jobs and also jobs for police and firefighters. There is even money for Medicare that doesn't have to be spent on Medicare.
Washington, D.C. (Aug 10) – The U.S. House of Representatives closed out its emergency session today finalizing H.R. 1586 authorizing funding for states avoiding massive lay-offs this fall. Nearly, 140,000 educators risked being furloughed at the beginning of the school year if the bill was to fail.
The bill passed the House 247 to 161 with only one Republican voting in favor of the bill, and three Democrats voting against the bill.
The bill authorizes $16 billion for Medicaid funding and $10 billion for education all at the cost of reduction of food stamps for families in need.- WorldNewsVine
Enrollment has been declining in California for the last several years. My question is if we have less students shouldn't we have fewer teachers? If we don't need teachers yet "save" teachers' jobs isn't that a just a form of  welfare? That may seem harsh, but, if education is supposed to be about the students why would spend more on teachers if declining enrollment says we need less? And as a 21 year education vet one thing I know is that if "the the big wigs" can put money in the "general fund" and use it for pet special "projects" they will. Because if the money is not coming every year than it is only a band-aid on a severed limb. Saving teachers jobs just to save jobs does not automatically help student achievement.

Perhaps someone is trying to buy votes.
