SHOTS FIRED AT EL PRESIDENTE

Man the hatches! Duck! Look out for loose cannon fire!

Well said. I used to work for a very well run restaurant chain. They were family owned and actually, contrary to liberal dogma, cared a great deal about all their employees. Many employees were paid minimum wage plus tips. When the minimum wage was increased was the cost of meals increased.
All restaurants raised their prices, from McDonald's to Mimi's Cafe.
When the minimum wage goes up the standard of living for the poor and middle classes goes down. Not smart. Not helpful.

PSYCOLOGY ?! Are you kidding me? Leave it to part of  the liberal propaganda machine to ignore the obvious problem. Job creation does not come from taxing the
life out of business. Yet, Democrats keep trying, keep failing, keep blaming and keep avoiding reality.
Job creation is down because the failing policies of the Democrats and Obama are not effective, they are destructive.

What good has el presidente done? The un-affordable health care act? The wonderfully high gas prices? The taxes to the middle class that he promised to not
allow? The budgets he has failed to offer, let alone pass? Maybe the historic debt he has created? Good? Not really.

Just because Obama was a "law professer" that does not mean he was a good one. Since both Obamas agreed to give up the right to practice law because of some "questionable" actions, maybe his grasp of the true meaning of the law is lacking.

I don't hate homosexuals, I simply do not agree that two people of the same sex in a relationship is the same as a man and a woman in a relationship. I am neither ignorant of why some disagree with me or homophobic towards those who consider
themselves gay. Some are my friends and co-workers, whom I respect. To disagree is not the same as hate.

At least Ryan wants you to read it before you vote on it. Maybe he should suggest that Congress should vote it in before reading it and perhaps more Democrats would vote for it.

In contrast there is always the Obama/ Democrat budget: Tax the rich (we mean middle working class)!

Clean the barrels and get ready for another volley or two...

Obama Cultists and bachelor watchers on Flush 'em Friday the 3 1 13 Edition

Welcome to Flush 'em Friday. It is time to Flush something.

I checked Google+ and I see this "Thank President Obama for opposing Prop. 8 at the Supreme". No. No thanks. Just a FLUSH!

I would also like to flush the delusional Obama cultist who thinks that Obama has done so much good for the country. Anyone who thinks the un-affordable healthcare act is good, or the price of gas and food is good, or that someone who promised to not raise taxes on the middle class, yet did, anyone who thinks that performance is good is truly clueless.

I would like to also flush anyone who habitually watches the bachelor. If you enjoy watching completely narcissistic individuals pose and pretend care about someone other than the image in the mirror, you my friend need help. Slap yourself so I don't have to waste the effort.

I better stop before I get mean.
Have a blessed week.

The Sequester, the Tax Code, Jesse Jackson Jr. on Flush 'em Friday the 2 22 13 edition

Happy Flush 'em Friday! Time to offer up a list of flushables.
This week's entrees are:

  • The sequester
  • The so called tax code
  • The trading deadline...the salary cap has taken the fun out of it.
  • Ten gallon hats on a five gallon head.
  • The price of gasoline
  • The Los Angeles Clippers defense vs the Spurs - dice oley?
  • Jesse Jackson Jr. - imagine that, a Democrat being a Democrat,  because other people's money is theirs isn't it.
  • The moronic idea to raise taxes more. This is the only idea a Democrat can think of. Can you say, "Budget cut"? Apparently, if your initials are BO, it's difficult.
  • The Bachelor, The Bachelorette and any show like them. Can a less sincere group of people be gathered together? Paaalease! If any of them could marry themselves, they would.
That's all for now. I dare you to leave one in the comment section!
Flush on!

Christopher Dorner: Hero or Villian?

There are many things I don't understand, but how someone can call Chris Dorner a hero, that is beyond me. It not that I don't think there is corruption and prejudice within the Los Angeles Police Department. I absolutely do. I just have huge problems with the thought process that excuses evil because someone believes that they have been wronged.

The idea that the end justifies the means, is a modern moral axiom that I believe to be the root of all kinds of evil. In Chris Dorner's manifesto he wrote,
"Unfortunately, this is a necessary evil that I do not enjoy but must partake and complete for substantial change to occur within the LAPD and reclaim my name."
So, for him the evil he was about to commit would be justified because in the end his named would be reclaimed. The illogical claim that if you think someone did something wrong to you, it does not matter what you do or justifies any behavior no matter how grievous is wrong.

This foolish and selfish belief is unfortunately embedded in our modern culture by literature and the media. Think of how in many stories the hero or heroin saves the day by breaking a rule. Isn't this the basic plot of the Harry Potter series? It must be a basic rule for Disney and Nickelodeon writers.

I know someone will try to use the lie to save a life argument. You know. If it is wrong to tell a lie should people who lied to Nazi Germans about having Jewish families living in secret rooms  in their homes, have told the truth? Please. To allow evil to continue is wrong. Frankly, most lies contain a little bit of truth. If you are a Christian you know the devil quoted the Bible to Jesus when tempting him.

Does the end justify the means? No. Is Christopher Dorner a hero? No. Apparently, he had a habit of filing complaints. My mom used to tell me that if I had a problem with one person it might be the other person. But, if I had a problem with two, three or more people, then the problem was me. Even if there was a problem with his training officer and all of LAPD, killing innocent people would never clear his name, only condemn it.

Dwight Howard's Shoulder, President Skeet Shooter and the US Postal Service on Flush 'em Friday the 2 8 13 Edition

Happy Flush 'em Friday! It's time to flush those and that which bugs, bothers or annoys us. This weeks inductees are...

  • Dwight Howard's shoulder.
  • Da President's "skeet shooting"
  • Matt Miller for thinking that raising the minimum wage makes sense. All it will do is raise the price of any service or product that relies on minimum wage workers. Who will feel that the most negatively? Minimum wage workers. Senseless.
  • The U.S. Postal Service... who's running that show? I guess they licked a few too many.
  • Comedians who just use four letter words. That's not creative. That's just crude.
  • Bill Maher - big mouth little brain.
  • South Bay traffic.
  • The flu bugs going around... it's like a dinner guest that doesn't know when it's time to leave.
Well that will have to do for now.
How all is well with all of you!
