Who's next? or How should we deal with other terrorists?

In this file photo, Soldiers from 2nd Battalio...Image via Wikipedia
I am, like most Americans, satisfied with the knowledge that Osama Bin Laden is dead. I think it  was the right thing to do. I am concerned with the future policies that the current administration might follow in regards to dealing with know terrorists and enemies of the United States of America. Since the current administration has difficulties delineating the differences between the rights of a US citizen and those of an enemy, I worry about our countries ability to deal with terrorists who are currently plotting attacks on America.

Since Bin Laden was not the only member of Al Quaeda who else might need our "attention" and how should we deal with them? Personally, I like the less we know method. Since the terrorists seek, for the most part, to terrorize in secret, I believe we should deal with them covertly. I like the idea of dealing with terrorist by terrorizing them. I think they should fear opening their very front door, back door, windows, or even their pantry. But, I think we should leave no trace. Why? Because I think our enemies should fear not only a massive onslaught of troops -  shock and awe - but also an unseen, untraceable bullet between the eyes.

The world should know, America is an awesome ally but and awful enemy.

Spike the Football Mr. President

TouchdownImage by Hjelle via Flickr
I guess the President is worried about how Muslims or others around the world might perceive the United States of America if he showed the pictures of a dead, shot in the head, Osama Bin Laden. Too late. Who cares. And what is it we want or enemies and allies to think about us?

Going in, snatching OBL from his very well built palace/hideout/compound sent a pretty clear message. Somehow, someday, we will get you and get the justice we desire. Talk all you want. One day we'll get you and your family.

Here's the deal: The radical Muslim world, much of the world that does not believe in freedom hates America simply because we exist. All they need to know is that if they mess with the US they and their family with them will pay the price. There is no reasoning with people who hate.

Theodore Roosevelt said, "Walk softly and carry a big stick." The USA is a wonderful ally but an fearful enemy. No cave, no crevice is small enough to hide in.  That's all they need to know.

So, Mr. President, spike the ball!

Hi Ho the Turban Head is Dead!

Outside of White House after death of Osama bi...Image by Chris.M.G. via Flickr
Dead - one self-proclaimed terrorist, Osama Bin Laden.

Last night I heard the news that Osama Bin Laden was dead and his body was in American possession. It took me a few minutes to really believe it.  I watched as thousands of people, mostly younger gathered at the White House, Ground Zero and Times Square to celebrate. I wished there was a place in LA where we could go.

I suggest that President Obama cut off the head of Bin Laden and display it at his feet to show the world he is dead and you don't mess with the US. Some may find that offensive, but, remember that we are dealing with chieftain terrorists who would fully understand the message that Osama Bin Laden's severed head at the feet of the American President would send.

The only death in the raid outside of Bin Laden and his men was a women used as a shield! That tells you the value these radical Muslims place on women. Not, to mention the cowards they truly are.

Thank you President Bush that 10 years ago you led with commitment and told us the truth that we were in it for the long hall.

Is Mohamed Osman Mohamud Really a Typical Teen?

GOLDEN AGE CHRISTMAS TREE ORNAMENTSImage by Zellaby via Flickr
Mixed portraits of Oregon terrorism suspect
Classmates of Mohamed Osman Mohamud, accused of trying to detonate a bomb at a Christmas tree-lighting, describe a typical teen.
That's what the LA Times says. Really? A typical teen. The article further describes this "typical teen."
"The main thing was the way he said he hated Americans," Stull said. "It was serious. He looked me in the eye and had this look in his eye, like it was his determination in life — 'I hate Americans.'  "Stull said he was frightened enough to tell school counselors. School officials could not be reached Sunday. Another former classmate said Mohamud sometimes joked about being a terrorist, and that he had sent a peculiar text message this month."He texted me asking if I knew of any places where he could shoot guns off where nobody would hear," said Alex Masak. "I didn't think much of it. …I assumed he was just messing around with his friends."
In an awful way this does not surprise me given the way I have heard many of my liberal colleagues talk about their country.  I am ashamed to admit that so much anti-Americanism in the name of "open-minded" liberalism is espoused by so many teachers. So, that said, I am not surprised that an immigrant could come to our great country and hate America while enjoying the very freedoms that he condemns.

Thanks to the administrators and teachers at Westview High School for helping him with his rocket propelled grenade launcher project. No, red lights there? What did you do when he expressed hate for Americans?

So, to my liberal friends Mohamed Osman Mohamud is a typical teen. There is a far cry of a difference between hooligans putting M80's in mailboxes and toilets and wanting to kill Americans.  For any liberals out there, Mohamed Osman Mohamud is not a typical teen.

Burn a Koran?

KoranImage via Wikipedia
OK, so there is a pastor in Florida who wants to hold a Burn a Koran day. It kinda sounds like a South Park episode. The press is all over it, like hyenas to a fresh kill.  General David Patraeus is worried it might endanger the troops. My local fishwrap described the Reverends church as "a church that espouses an anti-Islam philosophy."

So, we have a pastor of a Christian church that does not agree with the Islam belief system that describes Christians as infidels. This is where our press and my fellow Americans of the liberal wing are naive if not simply way off. To Islam we are not good. We are the evil, we are the infidels, we are the bad guys simply because we allow people to choose to believe, or not believe as they see fit. The Jihad was not a "Oh don't hurt me Mr. Crusader" deal. The Jihad was and is a scabbard to the neck, "Would you like to be a Muslim?" experience. You do not get choices to believe or not believe in Islamic countries. Islam is different than Christianity, that is why America fosters freedom and Islamic countries do not.

Although I think the Koran is false and obviously does not lead to peace and harmony, I don't believe burning a Koran will have the ultimate effect that Pastor Jones wants. The question is does he have a right to do so? If people can burn flags and Bibles, why not Korans?

If the concern is over what the radical Islamic factions will do, then it is a matter of appeasement. Why should
America appease terrorists? Isn't that the essence of terrorism, to threaten others into submission?

I do not believe you can ever find peace via appeasement, because terrorists are just global bullies. Bullies just bully more, as do terrorists. I know I am kinda of all over the place on this, but, whether Rev. Jones burns or doesn't burn Korans will not change how Islamic believers or terrorists feel about Americans. The question is will America be terrorized by the scabbard of radical Islamic beliefs or will we stand for freedom.

Unfortunately, the only language bullies and terrorists speak and understand is violence. So, how do you defeat a bully, a terrorist? Walk softly and carry a big bomb.

Understand Shahzad, Understand the Evil of Jihad

Faisal Shahzad, the admitted failed Time Square bomber, informs us, “One has to understand where I’m coming from. I consider myself…a Muslim soldier.” I understand what Faisal Shahzad is saying, I just think he’s a suicidal lunatic wrapped in a Muslim cloak of self-righteous, self-deceiving dogma.

I understand that any attempt at reasoning with such “Muslim soldiers” would only result in a head banging session of radical Muslim jihadist rhetoric. There is no reasoning with a mind indoctrinated with hate and lies. They hate us because we are Americans, Democrat or Republican, George Bush or Barack Obama with his creased pants (read up on Muslim views on people wearing creased pants, regardless of name or political affiliation).

I understand that these are people who would accuse Americans of meddling in their countries affairs, yet would take our aid. These are people who would claim we kill there children which they cowardly use as sacrificial shields while they allow their own sisters and daughters to be raped, abused and subjugated as a part of their religious cultural ethic.

I understand that the only thing a bully or terrorist understands is brut force. There is no reasoning with terrorists.

I know what I think the only response we can have is, what do you think?

5,113 and Counting

“US Admits to Having 5,113 Nukes.” Admits!? This is why the liberal media is a liability to the sovereignty and safety of our great country.
We don’t “admit”, like we did something wrong, that we have 5,113 nuclear warheads. America doesn’t “admit” we announce, warn, advise, mention or even threaten.
The message is we haven’t used them because we are a peaceful, until you piss us off, nation. The message to any axis of evil doofenschmirtz want to be potentate is this: by the time you finish blowing out the match you used to light your little bottle rocket nuke to shoot at us we will have fired back 25 state-of-the art nukes at your foolish asterisk of a country. Then, after the dust clears we’ll fire 5 more just in case we missed a spot.
The message to any terrorist state, cell, or individual: by the time you discover there are no virgins waiting for you on the other side, we’ll have sent some “gifts” to your family and every conceivable hovel you and yours could hide in.
The United States of America is the most giving country in the world. Just ask Haiti. We have no desire to hurt any nation, unless you attack us first. So, we have 5,113 nukes we hope to never use. But…
Thus saith me.
