Suspects lead police on a chase. A child is hit during the pursuit and the media points a finger at the police. The header reads as follows, “Child Killed in LAPD pursuit.” Hello…is anybody home? What’s wrong with this picture? How about pointing the finger at the suspects who were out of control? No fleeing, no dead child. Pretty simple. The police did not hit the child. The suspects driving the car while fleeing from the police murdered the child. A 6 year old child was recklessly and brutally murdered. All three suspects should be arrested for not only fleeing the police and endangerment but for murder, not manslaughter, but murder. It is way past time to point the finger where the blame belongs, on the criminals!
Thus saith me.
