Who would you like to Flush 'em Friday The 12 2 11 Edition

OK, all right, I know, I haven't been scribbling out the drivel like I should. So Flush me!

Who would I like to flush this fine Flush 'em Friday?

  • OWC - for still occupying anything except some common sense.
  • Barney Frank - for consistently being Barney Frank.
  • People who think John W. Hinkley Jr. needs any, let alone more, freedom.
  • Austin Kutcher - is he the 1/2?
  • The Philadelphia Eagles football season - self inflicted over confidence and a VY's passing.
  • The NCAA - for sanctioning USC but being so soft on OSU.
  • 25% off sales - come on give me more.
Someone help me... who do you want to Flush?

Flush 'em Friday: Apps and the OWS the 11 18 11 Edition

It's another Flush 'em Friday and their are some candidates who need a good ol' whirly-twirly.

  • Both the owners and players of the NBA. What's a few billion between friends?
  • Romance novels.
  • Auto insurance commercials. In the words of my high school business ed. teacher, "Insurance companies are not your friends. They're just betting on your life, and they won't lose."
  • OWS and people who actually believe the "protesters" actually have a point besides the top of their heads.
  • Penn State Football...Sandunsky, Paterno, the whole lot of them...evil can never be tolerated.
  • Revisionist history...why do some feel the need to manipulate the truth except to deceive those who believe it?
  • Jerry Brown...tough decisions or just plain stupidity?
  • Apps that I can't move to my SD card.
Somebody  what to add one or two?

Flush 'em Friday White Liberals and Apple Computers the 11 4 11 Edition

Happy Flush 'em Friday! It's time to list those I think need to be Flushed right down the old drain.

  • White liberals - because they say they want to "help those people".  A bit arrogant?
  • Occupy Wall Street
  • Occupy Oakland
  • Occupy anything - and their purpose is?
  • Skinny jeans...making boys looks girlish in a town near you
  • Hollister jean stores - for having bad lighting so you can't see their overpriced crap
  • Co-payments - that are now 2x the price since Obomacare
  • People who talk about Calvinism but have never read his writings.
  • Imperfect perfectionist
  • Hypocritical hypocrites
  • Weekly updates for apps on my phone
  • The price Apple computers
  • The cost of just one year at Biola, the school for rich Christians
  • The cost of even a state college, why does it need to keep rising except chronic inflation causing it to go up and up and up?
  • Hermain Cain's "accuser", it's Anita Hill au vu all over again
If you dare to add you 2cents...please do...

Flush 'em Friday Outlet Stores and OWS the 10 28 11 Edition

Happy Flush 'em Friday! I would like to nominate several people to be flushed this week, because they deserve it.
The to be flushed are...

  • OWS - for protesting banks when they should be protesting the people who forced the banks to make the stupid loans in the first place.
  • Charlie Sheen - for believing he's the smartest guy in the room (even when he's the only guy in the room)
  • Michael Lohan - 1. for being Lindsay's dad 2. acting like Lindsay's dad
  • Outlet Stores - here's the deal, there is no deal!
  • Planned Parenthood - for being planned non-parenthood rather than teaching responsibility.
  • Kathleen Sebelius - for using her position as first governor and now Health Human Services Secretary to bully those who don't hold her opinion and for obstructing justice any chance she can.
  • The POTUS's student loan scheme/scam - how about some real jobs Mr. Prez?
  • Eugene Robinson - for blaming "hard-right conservatives" for the redistribution of wealth. Dufuss is as dufuss does.
Besides all the usual suspects like people who don't use their blinkers and women over 40 who shop at forever 21, that's all for me.

No tax Tuesday and What Can Government Do for You? 10 25 11

Happy No Tax Tuesday!
It's sadly funny that politicians are "discussing" how much we should pay in taxes. The Democrats and liberals think they are entitled to all of it, or the right to say what I do with my money. Herman Cain wants 9%, I think, or is it 9% + 9% + 9%? Perry is talking about a straight - flat 20%.

Well, considering that the government is the least effective, most wasteful money managers known to mankind, why should I want to give them more than than the least amount possible. Just take the Department of Education for example. If $100 in taxes goes to the federal government which then takes 10% off the top just to pay for itself then divvies up the remainder to be sent out to the states and then to local schools. Now the state has to take some off what is left over to "manage" the remaining $90 so there goes another $10 so my $100 is at best $80 if the DOE decides that my state needs it more than other states. There is no guaranteeing that my money will come back to my state, city or school attended by my children. Stupid is as stupid does. Has education improved since the deception, I mean, inception of the Department of Education?

More importantly, if my God is only asking for 10% why should my government need more? In my opinion that is just forced idolatry.  My church is just finishing up a building project. Not only did they build a building that is fully used, but 10% of the funds went to building church buildings in other countries. We built two other churches. What do we get out of our tax dollars? Roads to nowhere, bailouts, and a plethora of stupid ideas.

So, I don't think the question is how much taxes I can or should pay, but how much can I trust my government to responsibly handle?

Flush 'em Friday OWS and Joe Biden the 10 21 11 Edition

Happy Flush 'em Friday to anyone and everyone! Another week and another list of Flushies worthy of a good old whurly - twurly.

And the Nominees are:

  • Occupy Wall Street - why protest the banks and not the Congress that forced the banks to make the stupid loans in the first place?
  • Uninsured motorist insurance paid for by insured motorists (me).
  • Joe Biden for linking public safety to his liberal agenda and then insinuating that not voting for liberal crap will bring about lawlessness. Really, Joe?
  • Obama's "Jobs" package - just another payout. What "new" and real jobs would it create or even allow?
  • Lindsay Lohan - for being such an idiot and having the money but not the sense to use it.
  • LAUSD for getting rid of one reading program and adding another. Changing programs only insures 4-7 years of clueless attempts at making the new program work.
  • LAUSD for not getting rid of the clueless "coaches" who were constantly meddling with teachers instruction. What a waste of money. About $ 90,000 a coach X 1,000 schools = $90,000,000 per year. Budget crisis solved.
  • JH and JJ for using threats as their main method of leading and managing.
  • The NBA owners and players for not being able to get themselves together while fighting over millions of dollars the average person will never see.
That all for me, who would you like to flush?
